The I Love Kits 1/24 Spad S. XIII from our 1/24 scale aeroplane model kits range accurately recreates the real-life biplane fighter from World War I. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete.The SPAD was the first of a series of highly successful biplane fighter aircraft produced by Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD) during the First World War. It was a single-seat biplane that was sturdy and had good climbing rate to 12,000 ft. (3,660 m) and good diving characteristics.Although less maneuverable than the lightweight Nieuport 17, it proved to be a very stable gun platform.
