Rock Island is Douglas Laing’s celebration of the single malts of Scotland’s Islands, islands like Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay, but here we have something unique because these blended malts have been finished in ex-tequila casks. Rock Island Blended Malt Tequila Cask Edition is a blended malt whisky from distilleries on Scottish islands, finished in ex-tequila casks, endowing the blend with wonderful notes of citrus fruits, creme brulee and brown sugar. It has notes of citrus fruits, creme brulee. crisp apple, caramel, intense vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and puffs of bonfire smoke. It comes at a strength of 48% ABV and is natural colour and non-chill filtered. This is a creamy and velvety maritime whisky that will truly delight you.
