TrolMaster Hydro-X Pro is their flagship Hydro-X model; its main distinction from its cheaper cousin HCS-3 (Hydro-X Plus) lies in that it can control multiple Aqua-X modules like WCS-2. Furthermore, this comes complete with an excellent 10" touch-screen control station as well as web-based software to review data gathered. However, for single-room management, it may be wiser to opt for Hydro X Plus instead (HCS-3). Hydro-X Pro is backwards compatible with all current Hydro-X control/device modules, providing more flexibility by enabling any plug-in module to be addressed as desired by its owner. Furthermore, each module can have multiple "conditions" which activate it allowing almost infinite control options. The Hydro-X Pro was designed as a single room controller to ensure reliability and ease of use, expanding upon its predecessor with up to 50 sensors and 50 control modules that can be connected simultaneously - creating multiple subzones within a grow space by linking individual sensors with specific control functions (multiple sub-zones may also be created via using 4-in-1 sensors equipped with LCD screens for real-time monitoring). Temperature, Humidity, CO2, Light) can all be independently managed to simulate natural outdoor conditions or simply create the environment of choice. With an easy-to-read graph display showing them how their environment changes in real time.Hydro-X Pro's built-in calendar and presets give users the power to schedule an entire crop's "recipe" within its system, with settings controlled by users as they "build" multi-week crop schedules. Reminders can also be set so essential tasks don't slip through the cracks. The web-based software offers convenient access and advanced remote control. Onboard data acquisition as well as storing/sharing settings between devices allows user-defined programs/settings to be saved/loaded into multiple Hydro-X Pro units easily, plus users can upload personalized screensaver pages via USB port for effortless operation. Note on Internet Connection: TrolMaster main controllers can connect to the internet using the available APP and most services including land-based and cellular internet are compatible. Unfortunately, HughesNet/ Viasat Satellite Internet services do NOT currently work with TrolMaster controllers. Note on Firmware Updates: To update firmware on a TrolMaster HCS-2 controller, a USB thumb drive of 32GB or less capacity should be used as the update medium.
