The Knoll Nakashima Splay Leg Coffee Table was designed by George Nakashima in 1946 and clearly Shaker influenced this gorgeous wooden coffee table from Knoll has been reintroduced into the Knoll Studio collection. Crafted with solid brass hardware connecting the mortice and tenon joints, the Splay Leg Coffee Table has a Hickory top with a clear low sheen finish and American Walnut legs, apron and edge detail with nylon glides to the feet. Nakashima is best known for his unique pieces of furniture, which are prized for their respect for the natural forms of the tree and the inherent grain of the wood.
