THE WOODEN O A Handeful Of Pleasant Delites (Monster British psych/folk rarity 1969 UK white label test pressing for the 14-track vinyl LP with plain white hand-written labels [annotated with Side 1 & 2 and the Cat. no] fully laminated picture sleeve. This unsual longplayer was released by THE 60s British underground club Middle Earth [Jeff Dexter and John Peel were the DJs and John Lennons friend John Hopkins was the owner!] led by recorder player James Harpham the Wooden O quintet managed to blend jazz classical and psych-folk music into a very heady brew indeed. The sleeve is graded VG as there is some creasing to each corner but is free of any rips or tears and retains a nice clear bright sheen on both sides.
