Marking Loki's comic book debut in 1962's Journey Into Mystery Volume 1 #85, this classic story of ambition and rivalry sees the God of Mischief escape Asgard and halt at nothing to prove his superiority to his brother Thor. 24K gilt lends a cinematic air to Alan Quah and Ghim Ong's limited edition Loki, contrasting its swagger with Jack Kirby, Dick Ayers, Stan Goldberg and Artie Simek's iconic Empire State Building cover art. Crafted in pewter, the figurine stands upon a composite resin base.
Alan Quah is a respected illustrator in the international comics and collectibles communities. Ghim Ong’s strong interest in 3D sculpting has led to his working on Marvel, DC and Disney properties.
