MORTON & SHEPARD A Good Joke (An astonishing German 7 historical artifact recorded in 1900 or 1901 onto a hard rubber base manufactured in Hannover by Emile Berliner [the first inventor to actually develop a usable disc record technology and founder of The Gramophone Company] with recessed & possibly engraved lettering recorded in London and spoken in English. This disc plays at about 55rpm and has survived one hundred & twenty years. We even play tested thedisc in the of fice with great care and what we heard can only be described as voices from the dead...!
