H&G Shooting Powder: How it Works House & Garden Shooting powder is a powerful booster that can be used in the last three weeks before harvest. Shooting Powder is formulated with Potassium and Phosphorous (PK), which allows the plant to develop a layer of new growth on top of existing fruit. This happens when the plant is in its mature stage. The Shooting Powder adds volume and density to existing fruits without any loss of quality or aroma. How to use House & Garden Shooting powder House & Garden Shooting powder is demanding of your plants. It should not be used on plants that are in their best health and have been grown under optimal conditions for heat, light, CO2. Shooting Powder shouldn't be applied during the final 3 weeks of flowering. Reduce the E. Add Shooting Powder at the rate of 1.3gm/Litre (two sachets per 100 Litre tank). Adjust pH as needed. Shooting Powder should not be used in conjunction with other NPK values (e.g. PK13/14) as it can cause over-fertilization.
