Seconds pieces happen as part of the living glaze production process. During the kiln firing of the piece slight variations in glaze colours, or imperfections such as spots or it does not sit within our exacting design standards. It does not however detract from its uneven colour can occur. This is purely a cosmetic blemish, which means beauty and could be considered extra special!
