Description
Morello Cherry is variety of cherry tree producing bright crimson fruits with a sour and bitter taste. Cherry blossom blooms later than other varieties, avoiding late spring frosts and fruits are ready for harvest around July, slightly later than sweet cherries. Morello cherries are best used in cooking due to their sour taste, which makes them perfect for making desserts such as tarts and pies, or they’re also great for making jams and liqueurs. These outdoor plants will grow well in beds and borders or in a plant pot and can easily be trained against a wall to save space.
