It works directly off a 227g gas cartridge (not included) and is the ideal gas caravan BBQ, perfect for camping holidays. Despite its ultra-compact and lightweight design, the Safari Chef Compact 30 is extremely versatile due to the included cooking tops; a pot stand, BBQ grid, flat plate, and pot/lid. Use the pot stand to cook up a delicious soup or pasta. Thanks to their modular system, all CADAC BBQs have many interchangeable BBQ accessories. The Safari Chef range can be identified with model number 30. This number indicates the diameter of the BBQ. All accessories will have the diameter in the product title to make identifying the correct size accessory easier (i.e. CADAC Plancha BBQ Grill Plate 30). The CADAC BBQ grid and flat plate are protected by CADAC's GreenGrill ceramic coating, it's organic, PFOA free, and non-toxic. This coating makes the cooking surfaces harder and more scratch-resistant than traditional non-stick, and it retains heat better so you use less gas. The Safari Chef Compact 30 has an automatic piezo ignition and an easy locking system once the gas cartridge has been inserted.
