The Vallejo Model Air Set - RAF & FAA Special "Battle of Britain" WW2 is a set of Model Air colors developed for painting the RAF fighter aircraft which participated in the major air battle, “The Battle of Britain”, from the beginning in July 1940 to the final phase or “Night Blitz” in May 1941. Contains 8 17ml bottles of high quality Vallejo paint. Content: 71.323 BS Dark Earth 71.324 BS Dark Green 71.302 Sky Type S 71.009 Eau de Nil “D.E.Green” 71.404 No 1 Sky Blue “Duck Egg Blue” 71.057 Black 71.126 IDF/IAF Green 71.305 Interior Grey Green Colours can be mixed with one another, diluted with water, Model Air Thinner or Varnish, according to the effect desired, but we recommend the use of Model Air Thinner since this product conserves the properties of the colours. Model Air adheres exceptionally well to all surfaces. The adhesion of Model Air to resin models, plastics, steel and white metal is extraordinary. Once protected with varnish, (Gloss, Matte or Satin) Model Air can be over painted with solvent based enamels or oil colours: they withstand cleaning with turpentine and even a light wash with alcohol.
