ALLAN GANLEY QUARTET BBC Jazz Club Acetate (One-off 1958 UK 8 metal based ultra high-grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate containing a unique & unreleased recording of the January 24th 1958 BBC radio broadcast Jazz Club introduced by Dill Jones & produced by Jimmy Grant. Also stars Bob Efford on tenor sax. The acetate has a Sapphire manufacturing label one side with printed date & artist details [Alan Ganley spelling]. Considering it was common practice at this point for the BB C to wipe & re-usetapesfor other programmes this makes for quite a discovery.
